Gorgeous Outdoor Wedding at Silver Sycamore

Mercedes & Guillermo’s big day was this whirlwind of lush greenery, an outdoor ceremony, all mixed with some fun, but classy touches of Halloween. It was the most gorgeous outdoor wedding for these adorable High School Sweethearts.

We are going to highlight some of our favorite moments from their wedding day, sprinkled with a few question and answer from the bride.

So many moments from such a beautiful day, but seeing the setup of the Lakeside Pergola Ceremony was so gorgeous. And the photos that were captured from it are breathtaking.

Of course, the Chapel is always a favorite, but it is so fun when our brides have a different vision and want to do something different. Mercedes knew she wanted the Lakeside Pergola and that it would be a perfect backdrop for their ceremony and she was right.

Memorable moment for the staff:

It’s always a treat for us to see how the groom reacts when seeing his bride for the first time, but it was such a sweet moment to see Guillermo’s face when he first saw Mercedes walking down the aisle. During their rehearsal, he was joking around about how he’s too much of a tough guy to cry, and low and behold, we look and he is crying. However, we don’t blame him, because Mercedes looked absolutely beautiful and her dress was to die for.

 If you could give one piece of advice to brides planning their weddings currently, what would it be?

“Make choices together before talking with the family and vendors that way y’all made a choice and are happy about it and don’t think twice about it. Look at Pinterest for ideas of what you want and don’t go in to an appointment without knowing an idea of what you want because if you do you will feel overwhelmed with everything.“

 Why did you choose Silver Sycamore as your venue?
“i chose Silver Sycamore because it was beautiful and had a lot of things we were looking for. Guillermo’s parents also go married at Silver Sycamore.“

Y’all his parents did get married here and it was just as gorgeous! What a fun memory to have to share.
