We have been open for 15 years, so we have a lot of experience doing what we do. This also means that we constantly are learning from our past and changing things to make them better and better for our customers.
The first business we opened was
Pine Street Cafe. Formerly known as The Tearoom
When we first opened, we were the Tearoom. We served dainty sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts. It was fun and people really enjoyed it. As time has gone on, we learned that if we want to grow our business we need to expand our menu options to allow both men and women to come enjoy our facility. We shut down the tearoom for a while and focused on just doing small, private parties there, but with the constant requests from past customers, we decided to open back up with a new menu.
We opened back up as a full fledged restaurant in 2014 with a menu boasting our delicious burgers with home cut fries, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, and more options to fulfill your appetite. There have also been additions of some healthier options like veggie wraps, grilled chicken sandwiches and more. Our award-winning homemade pies are an easy favorite around here.
With this menu and our wonderful chef Darlene, we expanded even further to offering breakfast & brunch, which has become quite the popular feature.
Not only are we open for dining Tuesday-Sunday from 8am-2pm, we offer it as “The Tearoom” for small parties and occasions. Most often, we have baby and bridal showers, but we do offer the option for a micro wedding. This means, a wedding for 50 people and under. It really is the perfect place for a small party.
Next is our
Reception Hall
Not long after we opened the restaurant, we built a reception hall. We built it keeping elegance with a hint of vintage and rustic in mind; that way brides could come in and decorate it to their preference.
Over the years, it has been used for countless weddings, corporate parties, school banquets and sometimes the occasional really big baby/bridal shower. It can fit up to 250 people, and if you are wanting dancing at your event then it gets 200 people comfortably with a dance floor.
To go along with the reception hall, we have two gazebos that you can hold your ceremonies at.

As you can see, it is beautiful during the day and at night. You really can’t lose here.

It has a chandelier, and it can keep you cool with its cover for those hot Texas days. It’s the perfect mix for outdoor weddings and a vintage, garden theme.
The next adventure we took on was
The Bed & Breakfast
Before the Tiny House movement was popular, we put Tiny Texas Cottages on our property for a unique getaway. In the main yellow house, we also offer a “Honeymoon Suite”. This comes with a whirlpool tub and your own private porch separate from all of the other little houses.
When you book your stay with us, you get hot breakfast for 2 at Pine Street Cafe.
To add to that, when you stay with us, you get the whole property to roam around, and what other guests we having staying as well. There are many outdoor seating areas you can relax at and maybe make some new friends, who knows! All we can say about the the B&B is that it is definitely an experience you wouldn’t have at any regular ol hotel.
The last thing we added on, and might we add the most extravagant thing is
SycamoreVille Western Town
It is exactly what it looks like; a fully-functioning western town.
To the left is our offices, but also the Jail; the jail is where the men stay for the day getting ready for their wedding. It was only fitting to do that. The white building directly in the middle is the Chapel. It is absolutely breathtaking inside, with wood-stained walls and drop-dead crystal chandeliers, it will blow you away. On the right side is the Bath House for your Town Weddings and the Trading Post, where we coordinate your events!
Next to that is Reilly’s Inn, our ADA accessible B&B room, but not limited to that. It is almost like a tiny apartment minus the kitchen, and it even comes with its own private porch in the back. Next to Reilly’s is our Hotel & Saloon. It is exactly what it sounds like. There are three hotel-like rooms on the top floor each with a balcony, and then on the bottom floor is the Saloon where you can host parties.
Last, but definitely not least is the sign hanging from the cedar posts. On an everyday basis it says “Welcome to SycamoreVille. Population 200. Est. 1-1-2016”, but with our Town Wedding packages, you can get a personalized sign. For example, your last name will be Johnson, the sign would read “Welcome to JohnsonVille. Pop. (the number of guests you invited) Est.(the date of your wedding)”. This sign is not only a really cool way to personalize your wedding even more, you get to take the sign home! So, not only will you have pictures for the day, you get this cool little keepsake sign!
