Spotlight Wedding: Lindsey & Jared
Lindsey & Jared might be one of the absolute sweetest couples we have ever had. Luckily, we have a lot, but they were exceptional.
They just wanted to be married. They didn’t want a huge wedding, not a ton of frills, but something special and memorable for them and their closest family and friends. When we showed Lindsey the Intimate Wedding package, and customized it to exactly what she was wanting, she knew immediately it was going to be the perfect wedding.
We asked Lindsey a few questions about her big day and here is what she had to say.
1. What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
“The favorite part of the wedding day was actually coming to Silver Sycamore and getting ready. Taking pictures in the house and for the guys to get ready in the jail. Seeing all the photos of
everyone getting ready reminds us of how much fun it was. “
2. What was one part of your wedding that you were really happy you decided to do? (ex. videography, decor, type of ceremony, etc,)
“Honestly, the entire process was discussed and decided between the two of us. I didn’t make
any one decision without his opinion. From the colors to the flowers to the cake (which was
amazing) and everything else. It definitely makes it more special knowing that it wasn’t all one
sided. We planned our day together.”
3. If you could give one piece of advice to brides planning their weddings currently, what would it be?
“If I could give 1 piece of advice for brides planning their wedding it would be to not focus so
much on the wedding. The wedding doesn’t make the marriage. Have fun and don’t stress too
much about it. We literally set a date, found this amazing venue, and got married within 3
months and still had the perfect day. Your wedding day is over so fast so try to enjoy all of the
planning.”
4. Why did you choose Silver Sycamore as your venue?
“I don’t even know where to begin with this one. At first, we decided on Silver Sycamore because of its convenience. It’s close to home and easy to get to. But after our first meeting with Jackie and the time she took to personalize an intimate ceremony in 30 minutes… I knew this was it.
This was the place. It was so easy making the decisions with her help and expertise.
Communication was very easy with the coordinator with fast responses and really anything I
needed or questions I had they were answered so fast. Every person I came in contact with
regarding our special day was handled professionally and efficiently. We can’t sing the praises of
the Silver Sycamore and their staff enough and have even referred friends and family to have
their weddings and events there. “
