A Country, Fall Wedding at Silver Sycamore

Nicole & Shaun had such a beautiful country, fall wedding at Silver Sycamore in October of 2019. They were such a relaxed couple, not ones for the spotlight, but they held it well once they were in it!
Their big thing was they just wanted to have a beautiful, fun wedding with all of their friends and family & they definitely got their wish. 

We asked Nicole a few questions about her big day and here is what she had to say.

1. What was your favorite part of your wedding day?
“My favorite part of the wedding day was all the backstage fun we had before leading up to the actual show. My husband and I are not ones for the spot light, but we both enjoyed the hanging out time. He had some great stories to tell me about hanging out with the boys and I had some funny stories to tell him about hanging out with the girls.“

2. What was one part of your wedding that you were really happy you decided to do? (ex. videography, decor, type of ceremony, etc,)
“I wish I could narrow this answer done to one part, but I am going to give you two parts. The first part was deciding to do the first look. It was a nice, intimate time Shaun and I had before all the wonderful craziness. We had so much fun during our first look that the photographers had to keep us on track. This also saved a lot of time after the ceremony because we got the majority of our pictures out of the way and gave us more time to be silly and enjoy our wedding. The second (a very close second) was getting a photo booth. Our guest had so much fun with the photo booth! At the end of the night, we got our very own photo book of all the photos our guest took! It was like having a bonus guest book everyone signed.”

3. If you could give one piece of advice to brides planning their weddings currently, what would it be?

“Don’t stress over the same stuff……just like in marriage. That being said, I do have a small helpful hint.  Practice bustling your dress BEFORE the wedding.“

4. Why did you choose Silver Sycamore as your venue?
“I fell in love with the chapel! That was it for me. It was awesome having our own little town to get married in, but again, the chapel was what did it for me.“
